Analytics Capability in Marketing Education: A Practice-Informed Model

As marketing continues to be transformed by technology and the explosion of big data, academic research has identified a significant need for analytics skills in education. However, it is unclear whether current curriculum approaches equip students with employers prepare them effectively data-driven roles. This study identifies knowledge graduates require practice bridge theory-practice gap increase students’ employability. Our reveals that blend knowledge, soft technical needed, ability communicate insights from data stakeholders critical. We offer practice-informed model which demonstrates conceptual skills, tools are required develop holistic capability practice. Actionable takeaways how educators can embed teaching education also provided.
